This last weekend saw an abundance of racing for the RCPB Crew, with racing Friday, Saturday and Sunday! It all kicked off on Friday Evening with the first of the ESBRC indoor club nights in Shrewsbury. Team Boss Matt Box took his old XRAY 4wd along (pictured below) and ended up with a great TQ and win. Not bad considering his passion is 1/8th Nitro. On Saturday it was Chris Ely’s turn at Silverstone, along with Jamie and Tommy Hall. The Silverstone track looking as awesome as ever below! This weekend was the 3rd round of the Nitro X Cross Winter series at the Swindon Race Club. This Tricky but flowing Astro track is fast and fun and conditions on the day were pretty good for December. As usual the racing was flooded with RCPB Drivers. In the Electric class we have Chris Lovell and his new MBX7R Eco. In Nitro we have Matt Box and Alex Page running Kyosho Mp9, Shaun Stenson, Andy Prosser, Gary Gregory and Simon Davies running the Radiosistemi RR8 and Simon and Simeon White running the Mugen MBX7r. This weekend RCPB were once again out in force both inside for some 1/10th and outside for some 1/8th. Inside we had team bosses Chris Ely and Matt Box were at the 3rd round of the Shropshire winter Indoor series (SWIS) in Shrewsbury.  An interesting twisty multi surface track made for an interesting days racing. Also in attendance at the SWIS were Felix de Hamel running Schumacher 2wd, Tommy and Jamie Hall running the new XRAY 2wd XB2 and 4wd XB4 and Gary Gregory running micro. This weekend saw some 1/10th racing for RCPB, five of the Team including our Newest Team Members Tommy and Jamie Hall headed off to the Very good Silverstone track and series. Both Tommy and Jamie are up and coming Jnr racers which we are pleased to be supporting – Big welcome to the Team guys. This weekend saw the popular Frankley Club Winter Series, and despite the gruesome weather RCPB still made it, with Ben Billing, Alex Page and Gary Gregory braving the weather to get their nitro fix. The track was slightly soggy but still raceable - well done Frankley club guys for all your hard work. All three drivers made good progress in qualifying, with Ben and Gary, 1 and 3 respectively and Alex just behind missing out narrowly on the A final.
